Amor Studio Salons is family owned by Dennis and his wife Kellye, and it was shaped by two very different kinds of experience.

Kellye is a hairstylist and a permanent-makeup artist. She knows what the work needs from a room: the light, the air, the plumbing, how much sound carries and how a client feels walking in.

Dennis comes from construction and real estate. He knows how to find the right location, build it out properly and keep it running well. Between them, every Amor location is planned around the professionals who work there, and run by people you can actually reach.

Three locations across Maryland and Northern Virginia, each chosen for the clients its professionals want to reach.

How Amor works

Four things to know
before you lease

    Family owned

    Amor is run by Dennis and Kellye, not by a national brand. When you need something, you deal with the owners directly.

    Not a commission split

    You are not an employee and you do not hand over a percentage. You lease a suite, set your own prices and your own hours, and what you earn is yours.

  • 03

    Not a booth rental

    A station on somebody else’s floor comes with somebody else’s music, clients and retail. A suite is your own private space with a door that closes.

  • 04

    Not a salon

    Amor does not cut hair, do nails or take appointments. We provide and lease the suites that independent professionals run their businesses from.
